Mike Weir, the left-handed winner of the Masters, was born on May 12, 1970. Furthermore, rising to a career-high Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) No. 3, he defeated Len Mattiace in a playoff to win the 2003 Masters Tournament. In the Fry's Electronics Open in 2007, he defeated Mark Hensby by a single stroke to win his most recent tournament on the PGA Tour. His most recent professional win came in May 2021 at the Insperity Invitational; aside from the five-man 2010 Telus Skins Game, this was his first international victory in 14 years.
