Right then, we are all set to get underway. The two umpires have made their way out in the middle followed by the DSG openers Quinton de Kock and Matthew Breetzke.
Veeresh: "DSG need at least 170 before getting Lhuan-dre's wicket soon!"
Right then. The Super Giants need a win in their last home game against a side that has been superb chasing down totals. What do you reckon a good score will be? Let us know using the 'Send Your Comment' option and we'll have it featured on our feed!
Jason: "Durban needs to witness some Klaasen madness at last today!" - if there's one thing this SA20 has missed, it's a Heinrich Klaasen special. Could today be the day?
Pitch Report with Pommie Mbangwa: Nice little breeze and strong enough for the batters to pay attention as to which side they must target. More towards the middle - 58 meters and 61 meters square on either side. The straight hit is 80 meters long. The pitch is dry - unsurprisingly, both teams wanted to bat first. Some shoots of green at the top but that's because it was covered for some time and it was prepared for the previous game that wasn't completed. When you get past the grass, it is a bit dusty. Expect it to turn and it could be tough for the batters to just whack the ball out of the ground. 41 sixes have been hit so far here this season. Who plays spin best - that's the question for today.
Keshav Maharaj (Durban's Super Giants captain): We're going to have a bat first. Looks a little bit drier like the JSK wicket. Hope to get some runs on the board and restrict them. (Positives from the washout against MI Cape Town) The way we started off we can be happy with. Obviously it's been a very slow start to the season so it was good to see the boys take a step in the right direction. (Importance of spin) With the dryness and the way we read the wicket it's going to be a crucial component of the game. (On the batting order) We felt like there was a bit of a plan behind it but it didn't work in the first half. So we're back to what we do best. Hopefully you'll see a different lineup today and maybe that's the lineup we've been searching for. Two changes - Brandon King has gone down due to sickness. Jon-Jon Smuts comes in and Chris Woakes comes in for Dwaine Pretorius.

David Miller (Paarl Royals captain): I've been pretty good this season with the tosses (laughs). But yeah we were looking to bat first as well. Hopefully the wicket stays good the whole way through. I haven't played here in the last couple of years, just one or two games here or there. This tournament's been a little bit slow and there's been a lot of turn. We'll see what presents itself, adapt quickly and get into the game. It's just worked out that we've chased well every game except for today. The combination's worked out, the guys have put up their hands on different occasions. We've got a great vibe among the team and that helps in pressure situations. A combination of things. Two changes - Keith Dudgeon and Eshan Malinga are in.
A couple of changes for the Royals from their win over the Joburg Super Kings. All-rounder Keith Dudgeon makes his SA20 debut with Kwena Maphaka making way for him. They've also added an extra pacer in the form of Eshan Malinga, who replaces his countryman from Sri Lanka, Dunith Wellalage.

As for the Super Giants, Brandon King and Dwaine Pretorius have been replaced by JJ Smuts and Chris Woakes.

Toss Update: Durban Super Giants elect to bat first.
4:30pm local time [8:00pm IST] - Greetings, everyone! Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE coverage of Match 18 of the third season of SA20.

Locking horns today are two teams that find themselves at the opposite ends of the points table. Barring a shambolic collapse at Newlands in their second game, Paarl Royals have hardly put a foot wrong this season. Joe Root and teenage sensation Lhuan-dre Pretorius have delivered impactful performances at the top of the order and David Miller's consistent returns have allowed the middle order to rally around him. Meanwhile, their bowling unit comprises of young individuals who have all shown glimpse of brilliance, albeit in erratic patches.

On the other hand, Durban Super Giants' campaign has been as chaotic as it could get. They made the inexplicable call of batting Quinton de Kock in the middle order, where he has looked far from his best. Heinrich Klaasen has been out of form. And they have found ways to lose matches in a manner that sucks the life out of the dressing room. Today, in their final home game, they will look to bounce back and get themselves on track. Noor Ahmad and Naveen ul Haq have been the two positives for them in the bowling department, but it is really the batting that needs to step up.

The Durban weather played spoilsport a couple of nights ago and there is again forecast for rain tonight. Though, it seems pretty clear for now. Hence, with anticipation of a cracking match in our minds and a silent prayer to the rain gods on our lips, Darpan Tikiya and Arya Sekhar Chakraborty ensconce the commentators' hot-seat and get ready to take you through the action.
