Daniel Alejandro Suarez Garza is a Mexican-American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro for SS- Green Light Racing in partnership with Kaulig Racing and the No. 36 Camaro for DGM Racing.
Born on January 7, 1992, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Suarez debuted in the Cup Series in 2017 at the Daytona 500, for Joe Gibbs Racing, driving the No. 19 Toyota. Suarez has won two out of the 279 races in over eight years in the Cup Series and has secured 66 top-10 finishes and three poles. In 2013, it was announced that Suarez would compete full-time in the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series in the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing and would also compete part-time in the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in the No. 51 Toyota for Kyle Busch Motorsports. Suarez debuted in the Xfinity Series at the 2014 ToyotaCare 250, Richmond. The next year he won the award for 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year. His NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut came in 2014 at the Fred’s 250, Talladega.
