Erik Jones is an American stock car racing driver competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 43 Toyota Camry XSE for Legacy Motor Club. He is married to Holly Jones, as of June 2024. Holly, also a racer, met Erik in 2018 when they were rivals in dirt midget racing, according to Racing News. They got engaged just before Christmas in 2022. Holly was born in a racing family. Her father was a crew chief for sprint car drivers on the Northern California racing circuit. She started racing go-karts at the age of seven and subsequently made the switch to outlaw karts at the age of 12. By the age of 16 she quit all the other sports and focused on racing.
Due to her impressive performances in the outlaw kart racing, she was signed by Toyota as a development driver in 2016. Holly was given the opportunity to race full time in the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals as part of her development.
She finished runner-up in the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League at Valley Speedway,Missouri in July 2018, recording the highest finish for a female driver.
Holly also broke her own national record (that she previously set in 2017) when she finished third in the USAC Racing Series at Lawrenceburg Speedway, Indiana. She also holds a Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University.
