Alec Ingold is an American football fullback for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. He signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019 and played with them for three years, after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, he played in 16 games, starting in four of them. Ingold struggled to become a regular with the Raiders in his three-season reign. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins in March 2022, after suffering a torn ACL in 2021. Ingold‘s career picked up, as he started 14 games in his debut year with the Dolphins. He had a breakout season in 2023, as he put in career-high numbers while averaging 9.26 yards per reception. Ingold also made it his first Pro Bowl in 2023.
Growing up in Howard-Suamico, Ingold attended Bay Port High School. He was rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN and Scout. As a senior, Ingold averaged 178.8 rushing yards and scored 29 TDs. This led him to win the Associated Press Wisconsin Player of the Year in 2014. Ingold committed to the University of Wisconsin, playing for the Badgers from 2015 to 2019.
