Andrew Walter Reid is an American football head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He transformed the Chiefs from a failing team to top-contenders in the league after being hired as head coach in 2013. He has spent 11 seasons with the Chiefs, during which he led the team to 10 playoff appearances, eight division titles, six AFC Championship Games, four appearances to the Super Bowl, and three Super Bowl titles. Brigham Young University (1982)
On the advice of then BYU head coach, LaVell Edwards, Andy Reid began his coaching career as an assistant graduate at BYU in 1981. However, he initially wanted to become a writer.
