American football quarterback Brock Purdy plays for the San Francisco 49ers as of September 2024. He was a seventh-round pick (262nd overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft. Arm Elbow Tear (2023)
During the NFC Championship game against the Eagles, Purdy left for a short while but came back to finish the game. The following day, he was diagnosed with a torn UCL.
Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1 (2023)
Brock Purdy showed signs of a concussion during the 49ers' flight after their Week 7 loss to the Vikings. He was able to participate in Week 8 after clearing the NFL concussion protocol.
Cervical Neck Stinger (2023)
Due to a neck pain, Purdy departed the game in the fourth quarter of Week 16 against the Ravens. The next week he came back to play.
Back Injury (2024)
Prior to Week 4's 49ers against the Patriots, Purdy battled a back issue. Following an MRI that revealed no problems, the 49ers declared Purdy to be "day-to-day" due to the injury.
