On March 7, 2022, the NFL declared that Ridley would be suspended indefinitely, at least until the end of the 2022 season, for placing bets on games during the previous season, including those involving his club. The Falcons sold Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for conditional sixth-round and fourth-round picks in 2023 and 2024, respectively, even though Ridley was suspended for the entirety of the 2022 season.

Ridley appeared in all 17 games for the Jaguars in 2023 season. He had 76 receptions for 1,016 yards marking his second thousand-yard season in the NFL. Ridley enjoys playing in big games a lot as he has put great numbers in high-stakes games. Ridley has four receptions for 39 yards in the Sugar Bowl during the National Semifinal. He recorded four receptions for 32 yards and the game-tying score late in the National Championship versus Georgia, which helped force overtime and result in a 26–23 victory.
