Carson Wentz’s Injury History

Last Modified Sep 3, 2024 13:24 GMT

After playing for four different NFL teams, Caron Wentz is presently backing up Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. When the Philadelphia Eagles selected Carson in the 2016 NFL Draught, he went on to defeat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl and garnered several awards.

The 2017 season, when the Eagles went on an 11-2 record with him under center and finally won the Super Bowl, was Wentz's greatest season. Because of Carson's injury, which has kept him from realizing his full potential, the Eagles eventually traded him to the Indianapolis Colts and subsequently to the Washington Commanders. He went on to appear in one game for the Rams in 2023 after signing a 1-year deal with them. As of August 2024, he is locked in as the QB2 for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carson has also received second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. Nobody predicted that Carson would not be in the NFL after bringing the Eagles their first-ever title.
