Christian Josiah Olave is an American football wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL. The Saints drafted Olave with the 11th pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Olave was nominated to the PFWA All-first Team of 2022, after finishing his first season with 72 catches for 1,042 yards, four receiving touchdowns, and two fumbles. With 11 starts in 2023, Olave recorded a total of 87 catches for 1,123 yards and five receiving touchdowns.
Olave decided to play collegiate football at Ohio State University in 2018 and recorded three touchdowns and twelve receptions for 197 yards in his debut season. The following season, he recorded 48 catches for 840 yards and 12 touchdowns. In 2020, he hauled 50 catches for 729 yards and eight touchdowns. He concluded his collegiate career with 65 receptions for 936 yards and 13 touchdowns his last season, earning First-team All Big-Ten honors twice in 2020 and 2021. Prior to moving to Mission Hills High School, Olave attended Eastlake High School, where he participated in track and basketball.
