Daniel "Dan" Quinn, a football coach with more than 20 years of experience, was hired as the head coach for the Washington Commanders in February 2024. He is the first Commanders coach to win more than ten games in his debut season. He was born in Morristown, New Jersey, and attended Morristown High School before attending Salisbury University from 1989 to 1993, where he played defensive line. The next season, his coaching career began with the William & Mary Tribe football team.
Before the Commanders, Quinn has previously coached NFL teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, and the Dallas Cowboys.
