Darnell Ernest Washington (born August 17, 2001) is a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hailing from the collegiate football landscape, Washington won the CFP national championship twice with the Georgia Bulldogs, in 2021 and 2022.

Darnell Washington’s mother is named Katrina Graves. She raised the entire family by herself, as her husband and Darnell’s father left for reasons unknown. Darnell has six elder siblings — three brothers and three sisters — but was raised almost entirely by Graves, who has spent most of her life as a single mother working odd, low-wage jobs to maintain her children and pay for their athletic endeavors.
