About 2024-25 Denver Broncos Football Schedule
The Denver Broncos Schedule for the 2024-25 season was released in mid-May. The Broncos are in the middle of one of their worst periods of disappointment in the NFL as their last playoff run came way back in 2015, which incidentally was the year they won their third Super Bowl.
Since that last playoff run and Super Bowl victory, the Broncos then quarterback, Peyton Manning rode off into the sunset and the franchise seems to have collapsed completely. Even former champion Russell Wilson could not restore the team to its winning ways.
However, all that is in the past now as the new season looms ahead. As per the Denver Broncos football schedule, they will be facing the AFC North and the NFC South teams this season. While the AFC North will pose a lot of problems with all four playoff-caliber teams, it is the NFC South where the Broncos should target their chances of winning the most.
Denver Broncos Key Games 2024-25
As mentioned previously, some of the important games for the Denver Broncos this season will be against the NFC South division as it is one of the weaker ones in the league at present. However, equally important will be their divisional games from the AFC West as winning some of these against the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers can help them in the AFC West standings.
Week 7 - October 17, 2024 - Denver Broncos @ New Orleans Saints
With the departure of Russell Wilson, a new chapter is starting for the Denver Broncos, and at the helm of the offense may be their rookie first-round draftee Bo Nix. The Broncos will need to target games such as the week 7 matchup against the New Orleans Saints in order to stay in contention in the AFC West.
Week 8 - October 27, 2024 - Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers
The Broncos will face the Carolina Panthers in this week 8 matchup, a game which Denver will look to win at all costs. The Panthers are at present the worst team in the league, struggling on both sides of the ball making this one of the most favorable matchups for the Broncos in their entire schedule.
Week 12 - November 24, 2024 - Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders
As per the Denver Bronco schedule, week 12 will be a divisional contest between the Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a game that both teams will fancy with the slight edge, maybe even going to the Raiders.
They have the overall upper hand when it comes to team chemistry and coaching as they thrived in the latter half of the 2023 season under Antonio Pierce. Even so, a win against their AFC opponents will help the Broncos tremendously.
Week 15 - December 15, 2024 - Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts game against Denver is another game in which the Broncos can fight for a win. The Colts have their system in place under second-year head coach Shane Steichen, and they will also get back Anthony Richardson who looked promising before he injured himself after just four games.
Week 16 - December 22, 2024 - Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers
Week 16 is the Broncos' divisional game once again, this time against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are another team that struggled mightily in the 2023 campaign, but this year they have hired the reigning CFP National Champion, Jim Harbaugh as their head coach.
Harbaugh will surely improve the Chargers but how much he will be able to influence the team in his first season in charge is a question. Thus, the Broncos can walk out of SoFi stadium with a ‘W’ against their name.
Where do the Denver Broncos play their games?
The Broncos play their home games in Empower Field at Mile High Denver, Colorado. This stadium has undergone several name changes, however it is popularly known as the Mile High Stadium.
This stadium opened in 2001 and the Broncos have been playing here ever since. The capacity of Empower Field is a little over 76,000 but can be further expanded to seat around 85,000 during concerts.
What channels have Denver Broncos games?
The Denver Broncos 2024 schedule has revealed that most of their games will be telecast either by CBS or FOX. As a matter of fact, the Broncos will feature in only two primetime games this season with one Thursday Night Football game on Amazon Prime Video and one Monday Night Football game on ESPN.
Broncos games for fans not residing locally can still catch all the action if they have a subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket. And for fans residing outside of the US, they can watch games with a subscription to NFL Game Pass.
