Derrick Henry is an American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tennessee Titans drafted him with the 45th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Henry played the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Ravens. In his eight seasons with the Titans, Henry finished as the leading rusher in the NFL on two occasions putting up over 1,500 and 2,000 rushing yards in 2019 and 2020. Notably, he has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times, in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023. As of Week 11, 2024, he has recorded 10,687 rushing yards, 103 rushing touchdowns, 165 receptions, 1,554 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns.
Prior to joining the NFL, Henry dominated in high school as well as college. In his four years at Yulee High School, Henry finished with 12,124 rushing yards for an average of 252.6 per game and 153 touchdowns on the ground. He continued to grow as a player after joining the University of Alabama to play for the Crimson Tide football team.
