Devin White is an American football linebacker for the Houston Texans as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose White as the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. During his five-season stint with the Buccaneers, he recorded a total of 566 tackles, 23.0 sacks, and 3 interceptions as of the 2023 season according to Pro Football Reference. Notably, he is a Super Bowl champion (LV) and has earned Second-team All-Pro honors (2020), followed by a Pro Bowl selection in 2021. Before Joining the Texans in October 2024, White also signed with the Eagles for one year in March 2024 but was released in October without playing a game.

White played for the LSU Tigers at the collegiate level from 2016 to 2018. During his time at Louisiana State University, he earned several accolades for his impressive performance. In 2018, he received the Butkus Award and was named a Consensus All-American. He was also named a Second-team All-American in 2017 and was selected twice for First-team All-SEC both in 2017 and 2018. Before committing to LSU, he attended North Webster High School in Springhill, Louisiana. He played football as both a linebacker and a running back for the school’s team.
