Dexter “Sexy Dexy” Lawrence II is an American nose tackle for the New York Giants as of the 2024 NFL season. He was selected by the Giants with the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. In his rookie season, Lawrence was named to the 2019 PFWA All-Rookie Team. In 2022, the Giants exercised the fifth-year option in Lawrence’s contract. Dexter finished the 2022 season with career-high stats including 68 tackles, two forced fumbles and 28 quarterback hits. Along with this, he was also named to his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro team.
For High School, Lawrence attended Wake Forest High School where he recorded a total of 204 tackles. Lawrence was considered as the best prospect from the state of North Carolina.
