Caleb Willians, born on November 18, 2001, is a professional football quarterback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League as of 2024. He played college football for the USC Trojans University of Southern California. Caleb Williams went to Gonzaga College High School for his high school education, where he helped the football team become the best in the district and won numerous awards, including Gatorade Football Player of the Year, All-Metropolitan First-team, MVP of the Elite 11 Finals, and others. Williams decided to play at the University of Oklahoma after high school. He started off as the team's backup quarterback but rapidly earned the starting quarterback position owing to his performance. Williams joined the squad as the team's starting quarterback after transferring to the University of Southern California as a sophomore. In 2022, Caleb Williams of USC received the Heisman Trophy and the AP College Football Player of the Year Award. In 2024, Williams will be able to participate in the NFL draft.

How fast is Caleb Williams?

Caleb Williams is reported to have run at a speed of 4.56 seconds on a 40-yard dash, however, since he didn't take part in the drills at the 2024 NFL Combine, this is an unofficial time. As one of the best college quarterbacks, Williams is bound to be compared to the best of the best in NFL history; Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Peyton Manning to name a few have defined their style of play by their own unique traits of athleticism and skill.

This is a good speed for a player of his position. Having a fast quarterback on an NFL team improves offensive play and opens up multiple play options. He would be able to hold on to the ball longer, allowing his receivers to get free thereby extending the play. Williams’ speed would allow him to be more efficient in the “red zone” where the field is most condensed and he would also be able to evade the defense to scramble for yards. Overall, a quarterback with Caleb Williams’ speed would provide a dynamic element to the team's offensive facilitator, thereby increasing the team’s chance of offensive success.
