Isiah Pacheco is a running back who signed for the Kansas City Chiefs in the seventh round of the NFL Draft 2022. He grew up in New Jersey and attended Vinland High School. He played both quarterback and running back in his early days. Pacheco was recruited by many football programs from the east coast. He committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in 2017 before being drafted into the NFL.

Pacheco fits all the requirements teams have for an NFL back in terms of size. The RB is a threat out of the backfield because of his excellent hand placement. He has good vision when carrying the ball, and waits patiently behind his blockers for a hole to open. As a true freshman, Pacheco participated in all 12 games and ran for 551 yards and three touchdowns on 111 carries.

Pacheco scored his first-ever NFL running touchdown on a three-yard run against the Arizona Cardinals in week one of the NFL. In Super Bowl LVII, Pacheco started as the Chiefs' starting running back in his first professional season. He scored a touchdown and gained 76 yards in the Chiefs' 38–35 victory over the Eagles in the Super Bowl. It was discovered after the season that Pacheco had sustained serious injuries while playing in his rookie season. He missed the majority of the season's play and needed surgery two weeks after it ended. However, he came back strong in 2023 season and finished the year with 935 yards along with rushing for another 313 yards in the postseason, which led to Chiefs getting their 3rd Super Bowl in 5 years.
