Jimmy Garoppolo, is the quarterback who plays for the NFL's Los Angeles Rams as of 2024. He was born on November 2, 1991. An exceptional player who once led the San Francisco 49ers to the title game and infused fresh life into the franchise. However, injuries have kept him from reaching his full potential. Jimmy has been mostly missing during the NFL seasons of 2018, 2020, and 2022. Jimmy was the 62nd overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He signed a four-year contract with the Patriots before joining the 49ers. Jimmy won the Super Bowl as Tom Brady's backup quarterback in 2015. His history with injuries is something to keep in mind.   • Sep 18, 2016 (Shoulder A/C Joint Sprain): Jimmy Eventually returned to the field but it kept him out for quite some time.

  • Sep 23, 2018 (Knee ACL Tear Grade 3): Jimmy tore down his ACL (which is located on the knee) and missed the rest of the season. He got his surgery on Oct 3rd, 2018.

  • Sep 20, 2020 (Pedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3): This led to Jimmy missing two games. It was an injury on the high right ankle.

  • Nov 1, 2020 (Pedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3): Even though Jimmy returned to the game two games after injuring his right ankle previously, he had never fully recovered. This time Jimmy missed the entire 2020 NFL season.

  • Oct 3, 2021 (Leg Calf Strain): Garoppolo sustained a calf injury during Week 4 and missed a single game.

  • Dec 23, 2021 (Hand Thumb Fracture) (Hand Thumb Torn Ligament): Jimmy fractured his thumb this time while playing against Tennessee. The injury later turned out to be more serious than before and it was a torn ligament. Jimmy played, despite the tear.

  • Jan 16, 2022 (Shoulder): Jimmy suffered a shoulder sprain but still played and won against the Dallas Cowboys.

  • Dec 4, 2022 (Pedal Foot Fracture): Jimmy was listed “out” for the rest of the regular season

Jimmy Garoppolo has suffered a lot of injuries but his legs have taken majority of the damage. Proper rehabilitation and resistance training could eventually heal Jimmy’s legs but the mileage on those legs could prove to be way too much for Jimmy.
