Kadarius Toney is a budding football player who plays for the NFL team, Kansas City Chiefs. He is a wide receiver who was born in Mobile, Alabama, United States. He has emerged as one of the most electrifying talents in the NFL.

Toney was introduced to the game at a very young age, enabling him to acquire a passion for the sport. He used to hone his skills in the playgrounds and local parks around his community. He attended high school at Blount High School where he started his career as a quarterback. From his high school days, Toney was well known for being a dual-threat quarterback, being equally good at passing the ball and rushing the ball. Toney had a stellar high school career, marked by various accolades such as being named to Coastal Alabama First-Team and Al.com Super All-State team. He was also named as the Alabama 6A Back of the Year and the Offensive MVP of the 2016 AL.com All-Coastal Alabama team. Toney’s astonishing agility and ability to change direction made him a serious threat to opponent teams.

Finishing his high school career with a 20-5 winning record, the three-star recruit committed to play collegiate football at the University of Florida. While he functioned primarily as a receiver, Toney also served as a running back, quarterback and special teams player. As a receiver, he recorded 1,590 receiving yards, 580 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. As a quarterback, Toney threw for 82 yards and scored 1 touchdown. He was named to the Second-Team All-American team and was a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award in 2020.

In 2021, Kadarius Toney was selected as the number 20 pick in the first round of the NFL draft by the New York Giants. His introduction into the big league was not very great, with him putting up performances below expectations. As things began to pick up for Toney, he suffered an injury and missed significant amounts of game time. Toney signed a 4-year extension with the Giants in 2021.

Following a season of injuries and inconsistent play, Toney was traded away to the Kansas City Chiefs. Eventhough his stats have not gone up since coming to Kansas City, he did get two Super Bowls rings.
