Kenneth Murray Jr is a professional American football linebacker for the Tennessee Titans as of the 2024 NFL season. The Los Angeles Chargers selected him with the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. In exchange for the choice that Murray was selected with, the Chargers traded their second and third-round selections to the New England Patriots. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team (2020) and recorded 107 tackles and a sack in his rookie season. In 2021, Murray sustained an ankle injury and was placed on the injured reserve. Murray concluded the 2022 season with one sack, 76 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception. In April 2023, the Chargers declined the fifth-year option on Murray’s contract. Murray signed a two-year deal with the Titans worth $15.5 million in 2024.

Murray attended the University of Oklahoma. As a freshman, he was named the co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and concluded the season with 78 tackles and one sack according to Sports Reference). He recorded 155 tackles in his sophomore season. As a junior, he was named Associated Press first-team All-Big 12 and first-team All-Big 12 by the conference coaches. Murray declared that he would forgo his senior year to enter the NFL draft of 2020. Prior to this, Murray attended Elkins High School where he was ranked as the No. 34 player in Texas by Rivals.
