Kevin Zeitler is an American football guard for the Detroit Lions as of the 2024 NFL season. The Cincinnati Bengals selected him with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. Zeitler started his NFL journey with the Cincinnati Bengals. In the NFL, he has also played for the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens before joining the Lions in 2024. In his debut season, he started every one of the 16 games at right guard for the Bengals, and across his five seasons, he started 71 out of 72 games (via Pro Football Reference). He became the highest-paid guard in the NFL when he signed a five-year, $60 million contract with the Cleveland Browns in 2017. The New York Giants acquired Zeitler and Jabrill Peppers from the Browns in 2019, then they cut him in 2021. He signed a $22.5 million, three-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2021. He was selected for the first time in his career to the Pro Bowl in 2024.

Zeitler went to Wisconsin Lutheran High School. He was ranked the No. 39 offensive guard prospect in his class. At Wisconsin Badgers, he began his collegiate career. From 2008 to 2011, he was a football player for the Wisconsin Badgers, where he was named a unanimous first-team All-American. As a senior in 2011, Zeitler was selected to the first teams of Pro Football Weekly, the Associated Press, and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). In his senior year, he was also selected conference lineman of the year, first-team all-area, and first-team all-region.
