He played his college football for the Oregon Ducks and was the cornerback for his team. He spent two seasons playing for the Crimson Tide but decided to finish his college football career with the Oregon Ducks in 2023.

Jackson started his collegiate football career with the Fort Scott Community College in 2019. He would then decide to join the Crimson Tide in 2021 where he played in 12 games and recorded 7 tackles and 2 passes defended. Jackson only started in one game in 2021 and it was against Georgia. The following season in 2022, Jackson played in 9 games while starting for one and he recorded 7 tackles (6 solo and 1 assisted), and 1 tackle for loss. It is also worth noting that Jackson was suspended by Alabama’s head coach, Nick Saban, for reasons that are not known. His suspension raised a lot of questions for which there were no particular answers and after the end of the season, Jackson transferred to Oregon to play his final season.

Playing for the Ducks, Jackson started for all 12 games and he would go on to have his best statistical season with 34 tackles (25 solo and 9 assisted tackles), 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, 3 interceptions, and 7 pass deflections. For his outstanding play in 2023, Jackson was named to First Team All-Pac-12.
