David relates his son’s football being similar to bull riding in the sense that both are physical sports and players take part irrespective of injuries.

David had a pacemaker installed at around the start of 2023. For Johnson Sr. though, it was nothing to worry about and went about the whole ordeal as if it was nothing more than a routine checkup. However, Johnson Sr.'s love for bull riding took a back seat when his son was born and he then turned his attention to construction work for the highway department.
