L’Jarius Sneed is a cornerback for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. He started his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 and has grown as a player after being selected in the fourth round. In the 2024 AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, Sneed took on the duty of guarding Zay Flowers who is one of the best young receivers in the league. He also guarded Stefon Diggs, in the divisional round, and held him to just three catches for 21 yards when the Chiefs faced the Bills in the playoffs. Sneed was neither listed in the All-Pro team nor the Pro-Bowl honors in the 2023-24 NFL season despite allowing zero touchdowns in the regular season.

In his early days, Sneed played high school football for Minden High School, where he was initially a wide receiver. Sneed was just a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com and he committed to play for Louisiana Tech. During his time with the Bulldogs, Sneed played many positions, and his freshman season was highlighted by an interception return touchdown against Western Kentucky in the Conference USA Championship game.

After playing from 2016-2019 for the Bulldogs, Sneed ended up with a total combined tackles of 177, where he had 126 solo tackles and 51 assisted tackles. He also had 8 interceptions, 3 interception return touchdowns, and a total interception return yards of 154. Sneed played multiple positions for the Bulldogs where he played as a utility player in 2016, cornerback in 2017 and 2018, and safety in 2019. He was a positionless player who showed off his versatility throughout the four years he played.

Sneed had 6.5 sacks in the 2023-24 season, which is the second-best amongst defensive backs in franchise history, and is only 2.0 sacks away from passing Ron Parker who played safety for the Chiefs. In fact, Sneed was so good that Davonte Adams was the only player who had more than 40 yards once in the entire 2023-24 season going against Sneed.
