During his time with the Blazers, he appeared in 31 games, tallied 101 tackles (73 solo), 6 tackles for loss, 23 pass breakups ups and one forced fumble. In 2021, he was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, according to his UAB roster. In 2024, McWilliams transferred to UCF for his senior year.
