Malachi Moore plays college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and is the strong safety in terms of position. He started his college football career in 2020 and has spent the last four seasons playing for the Crimson Tide.
In his true freshman season, Moore played in 12 games and had 27 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and one fumble recovered. Moore is a versatile defender who can defend on all three levels; short, intermediate, or deep ball. He is a strong box defender who is terrific against the run. The only concern is his size and strength which is needed to control bigger blockers at the NFL level.
Before college, Moore played at Hewitt-Trussville High School located in Trussville, Alabama. He played two positions in high school, cornerback and safety, and as a senior, he had 80 tackles and four interceptions.
Moore recently announced his decision where he has decided to stick with Alabama for one more season before setting his sights on the 2025 NFL draft.
