American football running back MarShawm Davon Thamir Lloyd was born on January 5, 2001. Coached by Bill McGregor, he plays a running back. Lloyd also competed in track and field sprint events. Moreover, he earned the top spot on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays following a 69-yard run against Good Counsel in which he hurdled a defender on his way to a touchdown. Rivals rated him the fourth-best running back in the nation, and the 33rd overall, while 247 Sports Composite rated him the fifth-best running back in the nation, and the 42nd overall. Also, ESPN 300 ranked him as the 56th-best player in the nation.

Lloyd has a wide box of skill sets. He displayed incredible explosive potential on screens and displayed good pass-catching skills elsewhere. In the passing game, he seems like someone with unrealized potential. Lloyd will have a lot to learn in pass protection as well, as he was not frequently used in that role. Lloyd is a risk-taker with explosive talent. His combination of good size, lightning speed, and deft footwork makes him a valuable asset. Lloyd might also require some time to become acclimated to professional running schemes and hone his running vision and third-down abilities.
