Marshawn Davon Thamir Lloyd played for the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans and was the running back for the team. Prior to the Trojans, Lloyd played for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2020-2022 before transferring to USC where he played for the 2023 season. After the conclusion of the 2023 college football season, Lloyd declared for the 2024 NFL draft.
Lloyd grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, United States and is a 5 feet 9 inch running back. In his true freshman season with the South Carolina Gamecocks in 2020, Lloyd missed the entire college football season due to a torn ACL. In his Sophomore year with South Carolina, Lloyd recorded 228 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown, and 3 receptions in 12 games played. In the 2022 season, Lloyd racked up 573 rushing yards, 9 rushing touchdowns, 18 receptions, and 2 receiving touchdowns in a total of 9 games that he played.
After the conclusion of the 2022 college football season, Lloyd transferred to USC and had the best season in his college football career.
