Nick Bosa is an American football defensive end, who currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). Bosa was drafted 2nd overall by the 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft, after a stellar collegiate career with the Ohio State University (OSU) Buckeyes.
Coming from a football family, Bosa made an immediate impact in his rookie season by recording 9 sacks, 1 interception, and 47 combined tackles on his way to winning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, as well as being named to the 2019 PFWA All-Rookie Team and the Pro Bowl Games. The very impressive rookie season continued all the way to Super Bowl 54, where Bosa even managed to sack Patrick Mahomes once, in what was a valiant but ultimately losing effort by the 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Following an injury-plagued 2020-21 campaign, Bosa has continued to perform as one of the leading pass-rushing threats in the NFL.
