Rashee Rice is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2024 NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him as the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract with the team valued at $6,495,208 as per Spotrac. Rice made his debut against the Detroit Lions and secured his first career receiving touchdown during the 21-20 loss. He concluded his 2023 regular season with 79 receptions for 938 yards and two touchdowns. He also went on to rack up 262 yards in the postseason (via Pro Football Reference).

Hailing from Texas, he was born and raised in North Richland Hills. He began playing high school football at Richland High School. In his junior year, he secured a spot on the first-team all-district for his exceptional performance, recording 72 receptions for 1,386 yards and 19 touchdowns. Furthermore, as a senior, he concluded his season with 51 receptions for 841 yards and five touchdowns. After finishing high school, he committed to playing college football at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

Rice attended Southern Methodist University (SMU), where he played college football for the SMU Mustangs from 2019 to 2022. He received honorable mention recognition in his junior year for the All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) as per the SMU website.

In 2019, in his freshman season, Rice played in 10 games and caught 25 passes for 403 receiving yards with one touchdown. For the sophomore season, he was promoted to the starting position. He played in 10 games, recorded 48 receptions for 683 yards, and secured five touchdowns. In 2021, he played in 12 games and recorded 64 receptions for 670 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior.

Rice concluded his collegiate career in 2022, recording 96 receptions for over 1,300 yards with 10 touchdowns. Interestingly, throughout the senior season, he had six games exceeding 100 receiving yards.
