Robert Griffin III is a professional American Footballer who plays in the National Football League (NFL) as a quarterback and was selected by the Washington Redskins as the 2nd overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft.

He signed a deal of 4 years worth $21.1 million with the Washington Redskins and wore jersey number 10 for the Redskins. In a match against the New Orleans Saints, he made his NFL debut where in the following match he scored two touchdowns as the Redskins won 40-32 and was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week plus NFC Rookie of the Month for September for his performance. In a game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he showed extraordinary performance by passing for 200 yards for 4 touchdowns and rushing for 84 yards as the Redskins won 31-6. After a successful rookie season, he was named to enter the 2013 Pro Bowl and was ranked in by his team members at 15th in the list of Top Players of NFL 2013.

Griffin had a career-altering season in 2013 where he showcased fantastic performance all through the season and finished the season with 3,203 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Griffin continued his overall performance for the Redskins in the upcoming seasons where in the 2015 season he was released by the Redskins but he without delay signed a deal of two years of worth $15.1 million with the Cleveland Browns and completed the subsequent season of 2015 with 87 of 147 passes for 886 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.
