Stephon Gilmore Parents

Stephon Gilmore is an American football cornerback who plays for the Minnesota Vikings in January 2025. The Bills drafted him as the 10th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Gilmore appeared in 68 games over four seasons for the Bills before transferring to the New England Patriots in 2017. Winning the Super Bowl in the 2018 season, Gilmore was a part of all three playoff games that season. Gilmore also led the league in passes defended (20) and interceptions (6) in 2019. In the nine games Gilmore has appeared in the playoffs, he has two interceptions and 26 total tackles as per Pro Football Reference as of January 2025.

Gilmore grew up in South Carolina attending South Pointe High School in Rock Hill. He helped his team to a SCHSL AAAA Division II title. They completed the campaign with a perfect 15-0 record that season. Gilmore appeared in 13 games as a junior while recording 35 solo and 46 total tackles in 2011 as per Sports Reference. Gilmore combined for 181 total and 140 solo tackles along with eight interceptions in his college career.
