T’Vondre Sweat was a defensive tackle for the Texas Longhorns. He started his college football career in 2019 and represented the Longhorns for all five years. Sweat is a strong and physical run defender who has a very nice first step and can be a terrific tackle in the NFL. On April 26, 2024, he was drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. He was the 38th overall pick.

Sweat started his college football career in 2019 and in his true freshman season, he played in 13 games and had nine total tackles, two passes defended, and one fumble recovery. In 2020, Sweat played in 10 games and recorded 22 tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Entering his junior season, Sweat recorded 22 tackles, and three passes defended while playing in 12 games. In his senior season with the Longhorns in 2022, Sweat had 30 tackles and four passes defended. For his final season in 2023, Sweat had a career-high 45 tackles, a block, and four passes defended.

Sweat achieved quite a lot individually and some of the awards he won are; the Outland Trophy in 2023, Unanimous All-American in 2023, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year for the 2023 season, and was named to the First-team All-Big 12 in 2023.

Born in Huntsville, Texas, Sweat attended Huntsville High School where he played both basketball and football. He is a former three-star recruit who committed to play his college football for the Texas Longhorns.
