Taylor Decker is an American Football offensive tackle for the Detroit Lions as of the 2024 NFL season. The Lions selected him with the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. The Vandalia native has only played for one franchise in his entire career to date. He was included in the honorable mention on the top 10 offensive tackle list released by ESPN in July 2024. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2016.

Decker attended Butler High School in Vandalia, Ohio before pledging his loyalty to his home state college football team, the Ohio State Buckeyes. He won the CFP National Championship in 2014, was a Consensus All-American in 2015, and earned Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year and First-team All-Big Ten honors in 2015, after making Second-team All-Big Ten in 2014.
