Tristan Wirfs is a professional American football offensive tackle who plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Wirfs with the 13th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. During his debut season, he started all 16 games and recorded 1,073 snaps, with that, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. In 2021, Wirfs started all 17 games and recorded 1,183 snaps. He was named to his first Pro Bowl. The following season, he was named to his second Pro Bowl. In 2023, the Buccaneers exercised the fifth-year option of Wirfs' contract. The following year, Wirfs extended his contract for five years with the Buccaneers, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history.

Wirfs committed to the University of Iowa for his college football career. Wirfs received an honorable Mention Big Ten Conference All-Freshman team in 2017 and he was named an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten in 2018, according to the official website of the University of Iowa. In 2019, Wirfs started all 13 games and with that, he was named to First-team All-America and named the conference lineman of the year. Following his junior season, Wirfs declared that he would forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft of 2020. Before college, Wirfs attended Mount Vernon High School, where along with football he had an exceptional career in wrestling and track and field.
