The Washington Commanders are an American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area, and they are one of the most famous teams in the NFL. The franchise was founded in 1932, and Josh Harris owns the team. After moving to Washington, D.C., they changed their name from the Boston Braves to the Washington Redskins. In 2022, they changed their name to Commanders, and they play their home games at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. The franchise has seen a resurgence since selecting Jayden Daniels with the second overall pick from the 2024 NFL draft. In his rookie season, Daniels has led Washington Commanders to their first Conference Championship in more than three decades.
