Xavien Kevonn 'Zay' Flowers is a professional American football wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens, as of the 2024 NFL season. He was selected in the first round at the 2023 NFL Draft as the #22 overall pick. As per Pro Football Reference, Flowers has played in 33 games with the Ravens and recorded 151 receptions for 1,917 receiving yards, as of Week 18 of the 2024 NFL season. In his debut season, he accumulated 858 yards while scoring 5 receiving touchdowns and set the franchise record for most receptions and most receiving yards by a rookie, as per Baltimore Ravens' official website.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Flowers attended NSU University School where he helped his team to back-to-back state semifinal appearances. Following this, being a three-star recruit, he opted for Boston College in 2019. He was named to the Third-team All-American in 2022 and the Third-team All-ACC in 2021, as per Boston College's official website. The two-time first-team All-ACC honoree is 24 years old, as of January 2025.

Zay Flowers began his collegiate journey at Boston College in 2019 where he majored in Communications. He continued playing as a wide receiver and featured in all 13 games with 2 starts during his freshman season. He rushed for 195 yards on 27 carries which meant he averaged 7.2 yards per carry. In the receiving game, he added 3 more touchdowns to go with his 22 receptions for 341 yards, as per the Boston College's official website.

As a sophomore, Zay had one of the best seasons as a receiver in the school’s history. With 892 receiving yards, he ranked second in the ACC. He caught 56 passes and finished the year with 9 touchdowns. By the end of his junior year, he had recorded 122 receptions for 1,979 receiving yards and 17 receiving touchdowns. During his senior year in 2022, Flowers set a Boston College single-season school record with 12 touchdown receptions. In total, he had 78 receptions which led to 1,077 receiving yards. Eventually, he concluded his college career with the most receptions in Boston's history with 200, the most receiving yards with 3,056, and the most receiving touchdowns with 29, as per Boston College's official website.

Zay Flowers attended the NSU University School in Florida for his high school education. In high school, Flowers played as the wide receiver on the offense and as a defensive back on defense. As per 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals, he was rated as a three-star recruit coming out of high school. Flowers led them to back-to-back Class 4A state semifinal appearances as a junior and senior, as per Boston College's official website.
