Diana Lorena Taurasi is a legendary figure in women's basketball who is also known as the "White Mamba". Taurasi stands 6 feet tall and plays as a shooting guard for the Phoenix Mercury in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Taurasi joined the University of Connecticut after a successful high school career. At the UCon, she led the team to win three NCAA Championships consecutively. For her exceptional performance, she was awarded the Naismith College Player of the Year twice in 2003 and 2004. Along with this she also earned the Wade Trophy and Honda Sports Award in 2003.

Diana Taurasi is married to Penny Taylor, a former professional basketball player from Australia. They got married on May 13, 2017, after being in a relationship for eight years. Before marrying Taurasi, Taylor was married to Rodrigo Rodrigues Gil, a Brazilian volleyball player, from 2005 to 2008.

Penny Taylor was born on May 24, 1981, in Melbourne, Australia. Her parents are Denna Noble and Michael Taylor. Like Taurasi, Taylor had an impressive basketball career. She played for the Phoenix Mercury, the same team as Taurasi, and won three championships with them.

Taylor and Taurasi were teammates before they became a couple. Their relationship grew over time, and they got engaged after Taylor retired from playing in 2016. When they got married, Taylor was working as the Director of Player Development and Performance for the Phoenix Mercury.

At 42 years old, Taylor has transitioned from playing to coaching. Her connection to basketball remains strong, both through her own career and her relationship with Taurasi.
