Harris graduated from the University of South Carolina and majored in sports and entertainment management. She played for the South Carolina Gamecocks Women's Basketball team and was awarded the Dawn Staley Award in 2020 for her performance in the Women’s Division I college basketball. In 2020, she was recognized as the SEC Female Athlete of the Year and was selected to the WBCA Coaches' All-American and Third-team All-American by AP and USBWA in 2020.
