Kasen Weisman is an American football quarterback who most recently signed with Florida Atlantic Owls. He kick-started his high school football career at the South Paulding High School where he was rated a consensus three-star recruit by most sports outlets. Weisman was rated the 62nd-best player in his position and the No.125 player from the state of Georgia according to 247Sports. During his high school years, Weisman was the starting quarterback for his last two seasons and finished his senior year with 1,756 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. He totaled 4,432 passing yards and 38 touchdowns with 19 interceptions while adding 743 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in his prep career.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback originally committed to Kansas State in August 2022 before flipping his decision to Colorado in late December. Weisman also held offers from Arkansas State, Buffalo, California, Colorado State, Georgia State, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Toledo, and Wisconsin among others. As a freshman in 2023 with the Colorado Buffaloes, Weisman did not see any game time on the field playing as a reserve behind starter Shedeur Sanders. After redshirting his freshman season, Weisman entered the transfer portal with a full career’s worth of eligibility remaining. After a solitary season with the Buffaloes, Weismann decided to take his college football career forward with the Florida Atlantic Owls.
