Charles Leclerc is a Formula 1 driver who competes in the 2025 FIA World Formula 1 Championship. He drives for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team for the 2025 season. He was born in the Mediterranean idyll of Monaco City and started racing at age seven. During his initial days in karting, Leclerc’s performance was overwhelming, and his skills made their way to the GP3 and Formula 2 championship races.

Leclerc made his F1 debut in 2018 with the Sauber F1 team. He was a member of the Ferrari Drivers Academy and drove the Sauber C37 F1 car, which had a Honda power engine. In 2019, Leclerc became a driver for Ferrari and took his career's first-ever pole in F1 history at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Since 2019, Leclerc has been driving for Ferrari and has won eight Grand Prix races across the nations with 44 podium finishes. His contract with the Ferrari F1 team will remain until the end of the 2026 season.
