Sahith Theegala, an American professional golfer of Indian origin, was born on December 4, 1997. His parents, Muralidhar and Karuna Theegala, migrated from Telangana, India, to Fullerton, California, where Sahith was born. Theegala won his first amateur title at the age of 13 in the 2010 Future Masters 1 and won ten more titles until 2020. In the latter year, he also won the Haskins, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus Awards.

Theegala turned professional in 2020 and at the Lone Tree Classic on the Outlaw Tour, he made his professional debut and finished tied for third place. He won his first professional win at the 2022 QBE Shootout with Tom Hoge, defeating Charley Hoffman and Ryan Palmer by a single stroke.

He tied for second place at the RSM Classic in November 2022, two strokes behind winner Adam Svensson. He continued his 2023 season with seven more top-10 finishes, finally winning his first PGA Tour event at the 2023 Fortinet Championship with a score of 267, under 21, defeating Kim Seong-hyeon by two strokes.

In the 2024 season, Theegala played in 12 events, making the cut in ten of them, with two runner-up finishes at the Sentry and RBC Heritage. He finished tied for 45th place at the Masters Tournament, but his best major finish was solo ninth place at the Masters in 2023.
