Viktor Hovland, a professional golf player from Norway, competes on the PGA Tour and European Tour as of January 2025. He made history as the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour at the 2020 Puerto Rico Open and later got Norway's first European Tour victory at the 2021 BMW International Open. In 2019, Hovland claimed the top spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking after his 2018 U.S. Amateur win. He became the 2023 FedEx Cup Champion, with five additional PGA Tour victories, including the 2023 Tour Championship.

Turning professional after the 2019 U.S. Open, Hovland debuted at the Travelers Championship and later finished second at the Korn Ship Tour Finals' Albertsons Boise Open. During the CJ Cup in South Korea, he set a record for the most back-to-back PGA Tour rounds since the 1960s with 19 rounds. In December 2020, he secured his second PGA Tour triumph at the Mayakoba Golf Classic with a birdie, his first win in a full-strength tournament.
