We are playing on the same pitch that we played last night so the dimensions are exactly the same. The square boundaries are 58 metres and 52 metres to either side while the straight is a considerably big hit with 68 metres. 64 metre and 59 metres respectively towards covers and midwicket for a right hander. The ground staff has done a tremendous job to pull this up as it almost looks like a new pitch despite a match being played yesterday on this surface. You can hardly see the wear and tear here. They have prepared it really well and today I feel the wicket will play much better for the batters. Again a high scoring contest on our hands. It won't turn as much because it is still dry. Good carry as well. It has been rolled well so there will be decent bounce. The team who is batting first or chasing, everything is possible on this wicket. Especially for the spinners, a utjing stump line was hit straight over the bowler’s head for 74 metre six. We saw Bharati Fulmali clear the straight boundary. Hayley Matthews, anything little down leg she flicked it here as well. We have seen Amelia Kerr tossing the ball up but she kept the line a little away from the batter. That is something as a captain you would want. You would want the batters to challenge the bigger boundaries. We are looking for a big total in the first innings.
