This pitch is slow and keeps low. It's not easy to drive, you've got a chance when the ball is new. This pitch is pretty much the center of the square. Big part of the ground is down the ground which is 78m. 60m either on the square of the boundaries. Grass has been rolled into the strip, it's dry as well. Commentary

That will be all from here as we hit the midway point of the league stage with Paarl Royals occupying the top spot. The action moves to Durban tomorrow but for now this is Sourabh taking your leave on behalf of Pradeep and the entire team. Good night!

David Miller (Paarl Royals' Captain): "Very delighted, nice to get over the line eventually. Good to get as many wins as we can in front of our supporters, long may it last. We had them by the throat, lost it a bit in the last 2 overs. It was a par score, a bit slow, the guys batted superbly at top and got us off to a brilliant start and then managed it from there. Really pleased (with the bowlers), got too many options . We've got an adaptable squad, the last couple of years we have started really well and finished badly, we need to keep that in mind. We will be playing in Durban as well which will be slow too, we've got all bases covered."

Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings captain): "Frustrated, good way to sum it up. When you come here, and you bat first, you need to push to 170 or 180. The wicket is on the slower side, we batted poorly in the first six overs. The partnership did develop, but we just didn't have enough on the board. We spoke about it, especially when you're behind the eight ball, you sit back and let things happen. You can only control the controllables, we need to tidy up on a lot of things."

Jonny Bairstow is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: "I thought we were competitive, 15 or 20 runs short, that was part and parcel of the game. They took wickets early to put us on the backfoot, credit to them. If you go too early, and lose 5 or 6 six, you'll be completely out of the game. Last four or five overs, we scored well. You need to brave about it, back yourself to score big in the end. With the win, it wasn't helping. With me and Ferreira, there was enough fire power towards the end. Loving the competition, amazing country, touring for a over a period of time. Great bunch of fellas in the dressing room."

Royals' skipper David Miller finishes it off with a six at the Boland Park and the pink flags in the crowd are flying high as the home team completes a fairly comfortable chase and jump up to the top of the points table.

The run chase had a few nervy moments but by and large this was a clinical and comprehensive display from the Royals who have now won 4 out of 5 and enjoy a comfortable seat above all other teams right at the midway mark of the league stage.

148 was not the biggest of targets set by JSK but they had the pitch to be their friend. Unfortunately for them, they could not bowl well enough and were also sloppy on the field and hence never at any point posed a serious threat to the chasing side.

18-year old Pretorious started off briskly with a 14-ball 27 at the top before Hardus Viljoen removed him and his partner-in-crime Root and the Royals were 2 down in the fifth over. However, they kept the runs flowing and then Hermann and van Buuren stabilized the innings. Hermann departed trying to reverse hit Tahir but then a cool and composed Miller walked out and took matter in his own hands.

He along with van Burren stitched a 71-run partnership for the 5th wicket, one which was supremely well calculated and made. van Buuren could not take it to the end but Miller was there and he provided the finishing touches after he was dismissed off a no-ball in the final over.

19.1 Lutho Sipamla to David Miller, SIX! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Unbelievable finish to the game this. Sipamla almost had Miller, but such is life as he Miller clobbered the length delivery all the way over deep mid-wicket for a maximum next ball to finish the game.

My goodness!!! This is simply not JSK's night. From ecstasy to agony, Super Kings now have to defend a free-hit as well as 3 off 6.

19.1 Lutho Sipamla to David Miller, PICKED OUT DEEP POINT! Well, well, what do we have here? JSK still alive and kicking here. OH WAIT, Sipamla at the wrong time has overstepped, umpire calls that a no-ball! Goodness, gracious, what a time to bowl a no-ball. Low full toss, wide of off-stump. Miller reaches and carved it to deep point, went straight to the fielder's throat.
