FULL RESULTS FOR WWE NXT (OCTOBER 29, 2024).
TATUM PAXLEY defeats Wendy Choo by stuffing her in a coffin.
CHARLIE DEMPSEY defeats Lexis King 2 Rounds to 0 Rounds.
ZARIA defeats Brinley Reece by pin.
KELANI JORDAN defeats Nikkita Lyons by pin.
NATHAN FRAZER and AXIOM defeat Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans by pin.

After the main event, Lee and Evans are brawling in the backstage area. Officials and Ava try to break things up but to no avail. It's not until RVD walks in to calm things down when tensions calm down - for a moment. He says he knows what he wants to do next week in Philly. Evans and Lee continue to brawl to close the show.

Grade: A-.
Easily the best match of the night, but the Champs put oup A matches every time they hit the ring. NXT has to explore Evans vs. Frazer at some point. The speed and counters were seamless and the match was fluid.

Evans gets distracted by Wes Lee in entranceway. He has a chair but Evans blasts him with a Suicide Dive. Cedric almost wins the match on his own with a Lumbar Check. Axiom and Frazer hit a Brainbuster/Golden Ratio combo to retain the titles.
Result - Nathan Frazer and Axiom defeat Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans by pin.

Evans lands his across the ring Cutter on Axiom but he kicks out. He then takes off the tape from his wrists. Cedric tags in but Axiom counters a move into a Canadian Destroyer on Evans. Cedric lands some chops on Axiom. His ascent is stalled when Axiom lands an Enzuguiri. Frazer tags in and Axiom hits a Spanish Fly. Frazer hits the Phoenix Splash but the pin breaks up when Evans jumps over it to hit Axiom with anothe Cutter. Did the ref just stop counting or something or was it physically stopped?

THe Champs hit a High/Low on Evans for a near fall.Is something big happening next week for the tag Champs? Vic keeps asking "who'll walk into the ECW Arena with teh titles next week?" Cedric tags in. Evans hits a powerbomb and Alexander hits a Sitout powerbomb. Frazer kicks Evans into the pinning combination to break it up.

Axiom is in control of Cedric but Cedric evens the odds with a kick. Frazer and Evans tag in. Evans hits a kick and a Suicide Dive in front of the announce table. He adds a springboard Lariat for a near fall. That whiny fan is extremley loud during this match. Axiom catches Evans as he goes for another high-risk kick. He sends Axiom into Frazer and gets a two-count off a pin.

Frazer drops Evans near his corner and Axiom asks for the tag. Nathan ignores him and almost gets disqualified. The tag prevents it but Frazer takes exception. Evans lands a Hurricanrana on Axiom. He tags Alexander in and he hits Axiom with a Torpe Con Giro.

Both guys nearly miss kicks and moves until Evans briefly gets the upper hand. Frazer slows it down for a minute but then slaps the Young OG. Cedric tags in and gets a near fall off a sweep.

Axiom goes for a Bow and Arrow submission but Cedric quickly escapes the move. Frazer tags in but wants Evans. I'm faster! No, I'm faster! I'm the fastest!!!!

It's time for the main event as Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend the NXT Tag Team titles against Je'Von Evans and Cedric Alexander. Still weird that they've never had much in terms of tag team matches but get a title shot.

The GMs are looking at the screen with the tag Cahmps in the ring. Eddy Thorpe asks Ava for a moment but they're cut off by refs and medical staff running by them. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez walk by with a bat laughing. The camera follows the ref's to a bloody Rhea Ripley on the gound by her sports car.

Jaida Parker and Lola Vice cut promos about being more hardcore than the other heading into their match next week in Philly. She kicks a chair as she walks off, proving she's tough.

Team Zaria is already gameplanning for next week's match. They each want a particular piece of their opponents. Rhea Ripley then comes in to give them props and tell them to blow the roof off the ECW Arena next week.

Bubba accepts the invitation for next week's tag match alongside Trick against Ridge and Ethan.

Bubba says Ridge needs to show the NXT Universe more to prove he's worthy of a shot at the NXT title. Holland then calls ECW overrated not extreme and that his radio partner, Dave LaGreca, will need a new partner because Bubba will be in the hospital. Bubba decks Ridge and Page joins in on the assault. Cue the Trick Williams music and the whiny loud annoying fan screaming like she does every week.

The fact that Ridge, Bubba, and Page are all in the ring and Page hasn't talked is hilarious. Bubba then drops his infamous "Do you know who I am" but it didn't get a pop like it should have. The line got popularized in ROH and IMPACT, not ECW. Bubba adds that he's lost more titles than Ridge has had title shots.He says Page deserves absolutely nothing as he walks by him.

Bubba says he's learned a lot about Ridge Holland in 48 hours. He says all the people on his show are talking about Ridge Holland. Bubba adds that he knows Ridge is a heck of a rugby player and is fast and strong. He also came back in eight months after shattering both legs. It's respectable but that's where the respect ends.

Ethan Page is in the ring to talk about losing to Trick Williams at Halloween Havoc. Ridge Holland cuts him off before he can say a word. Holland says Page has had enough chances at the title and that he'll be the one to knock Trick off his perch. Holland adds that Bubba made the right decision by declining Trick's request for a tag team match earlier in the night. Bubba then storms out faster than any Roman Reigns/Randy Orton/Undertaker entrance.

Jordan tries to knock Lyons down but to no avail. She lands a back kick on Lyons but she slides out of the ring to regroup. Jordan pursues her and sends her back into the ring. Lyons hits a sidekick of her own before climbing to the top. Before she can hit a move, Adrianna Rizzo shows up in the entraceway. Jordan takes advantage of the distraction to hit her split-legged moonsault for the win.
Result - Kelani Jordan defeats Nikkita Lyons by pin.
Grade: C.
The chemistry wasn't apparent but the women did well with the booked moves. Lyons slowed up at one point but recovered. It would have been nice to see her get a win for some momentum but Rizzo's interference was expected and protects Jordan.

Jordan hits a handstand splash and a short crossbody for two. The ladies hit stereo splits but Lyons responds quicker by driving Kelani nto the corner. Kelani goes for a move off the top but gets catapulted across the ring. Lyons hits a Samoan Drop and a straightjacket suplex for a near fall.

Booker T is losing his stuff, as he should be, as Nikkita does her pre-match pose.

A 10-woman match for next week's show in Philly is announced involving the women who wer jus tin the ring. Nikkita lyons comes out dressed as a pirate for her match with Kelani Jordan.

The faces get the best of the heels to stand tall at the end of the segment. What it accomplishes is show that one of the newer additions - Vaquer, Zaria, or Giulia - needs to turn heel to even out the dynamics in the division.

Zaria stands on the top buckle to bask in her win, but Fatal Influence interrupts her to return the favor from Sunday. Roxy and Cora Jade then come out to congratulate Fallon Henley and introduce themselves to Zaria. Kelani Jordan runs out, followed by Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Roxy says "4 on 5, that works for us" until Jordynne Grace comes out to even the odds. The 10 women go at it in the ring.

Reece gets two after a roll-up pin attempt. She goes for a handstand move but whiffs. Zaria hits a spear and an F5 for the win.
Result - Zaria defeats Brinley Reece by pin.
Grade: C+.
The action was fine. Zaria looked a like a bad*ss with her Brock Lesnar-esque offense. Reece did well but went for the overused handspring clothesline after injuring her arm. The no-sell didn't make sense.

Zaria drops Reece with a shoulderblock. She jumps up to punch the newcomer but Zaria drops her with a Lariat. She then tries to bend Reece's elbow in a direction it shouldn't go. Brinley's arm is supposed to look like it's out of joint but Zaria punches it to put it bak into place. She hits a splash in the corner and a side suplex. Alexa Bliss is either happy somewhere or mad that someone stole one of her gimmicks.

Up next is Zaria's in-ring debut against poor Brinley Reece. If you haven't seen Zaria before, she's like a mix between Jordynne Grace and Masha Slamovich.

King buckles when Dempsey sends him to the corner with an Irish Whip. Dempsey hits a kneebuster, but King fights back with an Enzuguiri. As the ref checks on Dempsey, Regal hands King brass knuckles. King grabs them but rejects them in the end. Dempsey hits a chop block and then a German Suplex with a bridge for the win.

Result - Charlie Dempsey defeats Lexis King 2 Falls to 0 Falls.

GRADE: C+.
The match was more about the angle with King changing rather than in-ring action. It furthered the narrative that he's trying to change but the commercial break always hurts Heritage Cup matches.

King hits a knee, but Dempsey takes control with a kick to King's injured leg. He adds a knee to his gut and a gut-wrench suplex. He goes for a Fishermen's Buster, but King kicks out. He then transitions to a Single-Leg Boston Crab. After King gets out of the Crab, he trades punches and uppercuts with the Champ.

The match was "paused" so the medical staff could check on King. It resumes with 30+ seconds off the commercial break but nothing happens for a fall in Round 2.
Result - Dempsey 1, King 0 after Round 2.

Dempsey rushes King as the bell for Round 2 rings. King lands a few Monkey Flips on Dempsey before sending him over the top rope and to the mat. King grabs his knee on the ground.

Vic actually gives King some praise for trying to be a better man. King tries to get Charlie to look at his thigh but Dempsey just decks him. King fights back with a dropkick and a flying crossbody for a near fall. He goes for another pin with a bridge but Dempsey rolls out. Dempsey gets a fall after a Butterfly suplex with a bridge that traps King's sholders to the mat.
Result - Dempsey 1, King 0 after Round 1.

Dempsey suplexes King right off the bat. The competitors trade counters until Dempsey drops for a leg lock. King almost gets a fall with a backslide pin.

Dempsey looks like a young Gene Wilder with his hair and mustache.

Up next is the Heritage Cup match between Champion Charlie Dempsey and challenger Lexis King with William Regal in his corner.

Before the next match, Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen talk about getting a shot at Tony D and the North American Championship. They approach him for a conversation, but Luca and Stacks rush in with a voicemail he has to hear.

One of his family members is mad that he didn't tell them that he's headed to Philly next week.

Bubba says it's not about him but the rest of the NXT stars who work hard. He doesn't want to take their spot, so he politely declines. Ava watches from backstage with RVD! He says that Bubba may not want to be a part of the show next week, but he does.

Kelani Jordan then runs over to ask Ava for a one-on-one match with Fallon Henley to regain the title. Nikkita Lyons walks over to say someone else should get a shot at Henley - her. Jordan then storms off after claiming she'll beat Lyons to get to the title once again.

Trick says he wants revenge and a tag match against Ridge Holland and Ethan Page with Bubba Ray as his partner at next week's show at the 2300 ECW Arena in Philly. Bubba says he's known Trick for three minutes, but Trick has his juices flowing about lacing up the boots again.

Trick thanks Bubba, but Bubba says he was just doing the right thing. It wasn't about Trick, but more about Ridge Holland disrespecting him and his friend at Halloween Havoc. Bubba brings up an interesting fact that no one came to his aid after Ridge attacked him post-match. He claims it's because of the NXT Title, and the other stars aspire to be the Champ. He says Trick needs eyes in the back of his head.

Up next is the next Trick Williams Lovefest. He says he beat the heck out of Ethan Page to retain the title, but he's in pain right now. He finally agrees that Page made good on his promise to put him through pain. Trick wonders why Ridge Holland was part of the plan before calling out WWE Legend Bubba Ray Dudley.
