Meaning: The tattoo is a reference to line 13 of the 4th verse of the book of Philippians in the Bible. It says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It was his sister Carmen’s favorite bible verse. He got it in her memory after she passed away in 2000 due to brain cancer. Meaning: the two symbols are 㝊, meaning “to guide”, and 術, which means art or skill, and is the “su'' in jiu-jitsu. Put together, they do not have any meaning, but the characters sound like the word Gaidojutsu, which happens to be a martial art created by Greg Jackson and practiced by Jones.
