Kayla Harrison is a celebrated former judoka and a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division as a mixed martial artist. Starting her journey as a judo competitor, Harrison won multiple accolades and awards, and eventually shifted towards professional mixed martial arts. She made her debut in the mixed martial arts universe as a professional on June 21, 2018.

Right after her debut as a professional mixed martial artist, Kayla Harrison maintained a dominant run in PFL. She bulldozed most of her rivals in the promotion and kept winning fights one after the other, amassing 15 wins without suffering a loss. Harrison suffered her first professional loss in mixed martial arts on November 25, 2022, against Larissa Pacheco at PFL 10. She is currently signed with the UFC, where she is ranked the No. 3 women’s bantamweight fighter, Harrison also maintains eleventh spot in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings.
