The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series marked the 30th season of this thrilling stock car racing series, featuring pickup truck-based stock cars. One of NASCAR's three national divisions, the Truck Series has its distinctive tone of competition, ranking third in line after the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Cup Series. The season kicked off on February 16, with the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway and concluded on November 8 with the Craftsman 150 at Phoenix Raceway.
Over the years, the Truck Series has undergone several changes in terms of sponsorship and branding of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The series started in 1995, called the NASCAR SuperTruck Series, until it became the Craftsman Truck Series from 1996 until 2008. In the next decade, it had its name changed several times, becoming most notably the Camping World Truck Series from 2009 to 2018 and 2021 to 2022. In 2023, Stanley Black & Decker, owner of the Craftsman brand since 2017, returned as a naming rights sponsor and presented the series with its historic Craftsman Truck Series title. This gives the air of familiarity that the series revisits its roots but still competitive, running some of the most famous tracks within NASCAR.
